Desert to Sea

Some pictures are going in different directions, so, starting with the bottom left corner:

Due to an attack of boredom, a man jumps up from his seat to his table. He performs a dance full of sass and movement causing his sweat pants to swoosh about him. His frog friend decides to join this rambunctious dance party by jumping around too. At the same time, he is also trying to swallow a pear whole which is proving much more difficult than he anticipated. Their cat friend ignores the waves of fun and cool being emitted by this fabulous fiesta and just sleeps under the table instead of joining in.

A very fancy swan equipped with fantastic, long, Elvis-inspired hair and a ruffle around his neck, has just caught a fish and is very pleased with himself. However, he fails to realize that two more beings also lay claim to his next meal; both a mermaid and a fisherman have snagged the poor sea creature on their fishing lines. As if being captured by a hungry bird wasn’t painful enough, this little fish is forced to suffer from the stab of two sharp hooks as well.

This lady is so excited you don’t even know! She just got a ball of blue thread or yarn or something and a needle and is greatly looking forward to making things with them.

A super hip monkey with brown Elvis hair and a goatee is standing upon the back of his horse-ish creature friend while pondering things such as the ground. The ground really must be interesting in this desert; neither friend can't stop staring at it.

Branches

Some pictures are going in different directions, so, starting with the bottom left corner:

A bunch of dinosaur friends and a frog are hanging out on a tree branch because that’s what cool people/dinosaurs/frogs do sometimes. They are so chill. The green one with a little bit of hair has his collar popped and his hands in his pockets just staring off into the distance thinking about things. His orange-yellow friends doesn’t even mind that the shoe laces of his tough boots are untied a little because he’s too busy observing the tree trunk and wearing a chain necklace and all. The little pink dinosaur swings from the tree by one hand letting her hair blow in the breeze and not fearing the height at all. And the frog just sits enjoying the wind and height and shade from the orange dino’s untied boot and life and stuff.

The sun shines brightly from overhead as some guy and his lama friend trek through a grassy field. The guy is growing tired from carrying a huge basket on his back and a huge hat on his head and walking a lot so he has started to tip over. Eventually he will fall into his shadow if he doesn’t regain some energy to stop tipping with! His lama friend has the right idea. He is planning on eating a pear to regain some energy so that he can continue on their journey in an upright manner. I’m sure that if the guy could catch up to the lama, the lama would see what a bad shape he was in and offer some of the pear to the poor, tipping guy. Then he could regain some energy too.

Another group of buds sit on a branch. They are comprised of a large green dino with a ponytail of hair and a turtle neck, a guy with a mullet and beard and tie dyed shirt, and a red bird. They all laugh at a joke or something while enjoying the view from their branch.

A brown and orange striped cat perches atop a lady’s foot. The lady is wearing the newest style of shoes; pink pumps equipped with wheels that propel her so fast that they make fire and smoke and all. They are pretty intense.

Adventure, Disco, and Sparkle

Some of the scribble drawings are going in different directions. So, starting with the bottom left corner:

In a ballroom with a nice electric chandelier, a lady with long brown hair believes that she has found her true love! However, her orange haired lover does not return her affection; instead, he fears it a little. Realizing that she does not recognize his opinion of the matter in her decision to marry him as promptly as possible, he attempts to escape by running through the dance floor. He does not realize that his newest and biggest fan has been holding on to him for a while and is unwilling to let him get away, even if it means that her pretty sun hat will blow off her head in the effort; it is tied around her neck with a pretty, purple ribbon anyway.

A group of friends have found the opening to a super cool, dark, scary cave and they are all so happy because finding caves is something that real adventurers do and so they are now real adventurers and that ROCKS! Anyway, they start dividing up jobs for each of them based on their skill sets. The cat will lead the way because cats are supposed to be good at seeing in the dark or something like that. The dog will smell stuff because dogs have good noses. The bird will fly around and check the ceiling for bats. The snake will scare away any mice or rats that could cause the rest of the group to freak out a bit and the turtle will utilize its vegan ways to keep the snake from using consumption as an intimidation tactic. The lama will spit I think and just be cool. The mammalian creature with small Elvis-hair will keep just be cool too because anything else would be sure to mess up the hair he spend hours styling that morning.

A cute little black dog hops around in the sun and grass because that it what cute little dogs do sometimes, okay?

A hip bunny with rockin’ style decides to jam out in a hella tight disco club with rainbow sparkles and loud music. Why is she wearing a shirt that says “yo” you ask? 1. Because it goes with her awesome, baggy, faded jeans and purple boots. 2. Because who doesn’t want to great their fellow dance club peeps with such a friendly greeting?

Hats and Flowers

Some of the pictures are going in different directions so, starting with the bottom left corner and going counter clockwise:

A brown dog with a black ear and black stripes on it's leg and tail looks up at the sun who looks back at him too. A snake stands behind the dog observing his striped tail; he wishes that he had a striped tail too.

A light brown dog with black Elvis hair swims through the ocean. He carries some of his friends who have grown tired; an orange and black snake, a green turtle who likes to reach out to butterflies, and a blue Pokémon of some sort. An orange fish and brown seal girl (with long hair, bangs, and a blue necklace) keep them company while they swim.

A boy with a red bunny cap and purple shirt stares off into the distance, looking for a new adventure. His bird friend (black with yellow beak, orange spot and red stripe) looks out in the other direction in case their next adventure is over there instead.

A little girl with blue eyes and an open mouthed smile walks along the black street of a purple, polluted city. Along with a green sweater and purple scarf, she wears a stack of hats (a blue beret, red trucker hat, purple mesh hat thing, and vintage army uniform hat with feather and a yellow patch) all tied to her head in order to keep her warm and partially hide her hair which she wears in a bun behind the stack.  She died it brown a while ago but her roots have grown out so much that her natural orange hair color makes up about half of her hair style.

GANG FIGHT!

Some of the pictures are going in different directions so, starting at the top left corner and going clockwise:

A bald man in a red shirt with orange, tassel-y shoulder pads and a light blue cape holds his a baby and waves to you. His wife stands on the tree trunk next to them. She loves climbing trees and her baby so much that she doesn’t even mind that her purple and green shirt and blue pants and grey boots with gold buttons might get ripped or scuffed or something. The couple doesn’t need the shade from the little beach hut behind them because the weather is so nice.

A big group of friends meet up in a nice little grassy garden place with flowers and mushrooms. A duck in a green turtle neck and black pants is running about while most of their gang is hanging out overhead. His goffer-ish friend with brown backwards Elvis hair floats around in the group’s most common outfit; a muscle shirt, jeans, and tough boots. Some friends (like the lama, rooster, and parrot with a multicolored Mohawk) wear a cool chain necklace too. The pig with black Elvis hair also likes to add and black gloves to the uniform. A dear hangs out with them too and, for some, acts as a stool. But he doesn’t mind too much because at the moment he is watching his shadow. Everyone is having tons of fun jumping, running, and spreading smiles, just being cool and tough and nice and all.

A group of five friends, a penguin with long brown hair, and a pink and purple striped bug-like creature are all hanging out together just gabbing and standing around. These friends have all different sorts of style ranging from pigtails and a green scarf to a headband and ponytail to a red, patterned evening dress. But they all get along just fine anyway.

A whole variety of animals have gathered just to hang out and be cool; there are two butterflies, an anteater-ish creature with long hair, a flying bird, a seal, a cockroach, a girl, a flower, a piece of crumpled paper, another anteater-ish creature with hair and a big smile, a fox-flying squirrel creature, a quail, and another mammal of some sort with a mullet. Can you find them all?

Hello There

Good day and welcome to Scumble Plume: the place where I shall post things.

Okay, so I think that my reason for starting this site is best explained with a story:

A few years ago I would sit in my classes, learning and doing other school stuff and doodling along the margins of my notebook. But sometimes my doodles would wander over to the words on the page too. I would draw pictures throughout the sentences including every letter in some form or another. I would turn an e into a balloon in the wind, a y into a happy face, an l into a wand emitting sparkles and magic, and so on.

(can you tell what it says?)*

One day my very best friend asked me how I saw pictures in the letters. I didn’t really know myself so I probably answered along the lines of, “I don’t know.” She then drew some scribbles for me and asked if I could find pictures in them too. I did and I drew them.

And tada! That was the start of the scribble drawing game. She gave me a ton of scribbles and I turned them into a ton of pictures. Eventually I began asking more people for scribbles and making more drawings.
There you have it, scribble drawing, quite a fun pass time in comparison to school work. Over these past years since the game started, I have collected piles of these scribble drawings and now I would like to share them with you and the world and all. So that's basically what this blog shall consist of. The end.

But not really because I am about to write more. I don’t like to waste paper very much at all even though I do like scribble art and that generally involves the use of paper. In order to avoid paper wasting, pretty much all of the drawings that I shall post here are drawn on the back of my old homework. And most of the pages have been divided into four parts, a different scribble and picture in each. So that is like four pieces of paper in one! and only reusing paper. So I think it’s okay. Sadly, along with saving paper, this means that most of the time the four different drawings go in four different directions. On paper this is fine because you can just flip around a piece of paper but some computer screens are not as light or rotatable. So I'll do my best to make them as easily comprehendible as possible. I hope that you enjoy the rest of the posts I share with you. They probably won't be nearly as long as this one; just a picture and description or two. So thanks for reading and have a nice day.

*In case you wanted to check your answer, it says "Oodles of Doodles!!" And if you didn't get it, don't feel bad one little bit. It even took me a while to figure out what it said after these few years and I was the one to draw it! Ah well, next time you shall get it for sure I bet.
